Mervue United are delighted to announce the appointment of Gary O'Connor as the clubs new youth development officer.

Gary holds an UEFA A Licence and will over see the underage structure of the club. Gary is a proud Mervue man who played with the club all the way up and won many honours with the club.

Gary is an experienced league of Ireland coach who has assisted Johnny Glynn with Mervue before joining Galway United to assist Tommy Dunne, Shane Keegan and John Caulfield while also managing Galway United u17s.

Gary will bring a wealth of experience to the club and everyone in the club wishes him well in his new role.
